Glenn Bare & Sons operated a business for many years out of this building. The Gang of 5, LLC purchased the property from them in 2007 with the vision of a green office building in downtown. Some of the "gang" can remember doing business with Bare & Son, taking a chainsaw or weed eater to them for repair. Several things were done in the renovation to capture the history of the previous long-time owners. For example, we incorporated their entrance door in the renovation.
Now, after more than a year of effort from the building's new owners, The Greenhouse is becoming a one-of-a-kind community resource.
